Hughes Opticians first opens its doors in Corner House, Woodquay in November 1983 with a vision to provide an excellent standard of eye care to the local community of Galway through the efforts of their professional and friendly team.
In addition to the routine eye examination service, we also offer specialist advice for low vision, sports vision, school vision and visual stress (colorimetry). You will also find a range of unique eyewear to suit a variety of different tastes and budgets.
Despite the many changes that the world of optics has seen over the years, Hughes Optician’s commitment to quality customer service has always remained at the heart of the practice. We have invested in the latest and most advanced eye care technology to ensure that the health of our patients’ eyes is never compromised.
